Last week felt like a slightly missed opportunity for some car related video shenanigans. I've already done Favourite Game by the Cardigans I was wondering what to do.
This video gives me simultaneous feelings of cheating and snobbery. You know, kind of like Princess Di. Or that Major who coughed suspiciously on "Who wants to be a Millionaire". Originally released under the moniker of Josh Abrahams in 1998 it was re-released in 2001 using the name Puretone (in order to avoid confusion with music producer Josh Abraham) to capitalise on the work he did on the "Moulin Rouge" soundtrack. It reached #2 in the UK charts in 2002.
Since I heard it the first time round I get to act all superior but I do wonder if I'm slipping in on a technicality since most people will have heard it way after the 90s especially since this video is from the later European release.
Still, the video - starring the rather lovely Amiel and Megan Dorman, kicks all sorts of arse so I'm going to swallow my musical morals. Not that I really have any of course.
